Storing baseball cards?

My brother is finally starting to organize his collection of baseball cards but we can’t seem to come up with a way to effectively store them – the obvious method, putting them into insert holders in binders, make it hard to move them around if we need to add cards alphabetically or by team.
Anyone with similar experiences or suggestions? -thanks

I wouldn’t put them all in plastic inserts in binders…the cardboard boxes used for sets are excellent for storage..also, big plastic bins are good to keep moisture out…I loaded all of my sets that are in cardboard boxes into plastic bins and stored them in the closet or stacked most of them on top of eachother in a spare room…the key is to keep them dry and away from light so they don’t fade…

The Card $9.29 Since its limited release just after the turn of the twentieth century this American Tobacco cigarette card has beguiled and bedeviled collectors. First identified as valuable in the 1930s when the whole notion of card collecting was still young the T206 Wagner has remained the big score for collectors who have scoured card shows flea markets estate sales and auctions for the portrait of baseball’s greatest shortstop. However the "Gretzky" card is of uncertain origin and questions in the trade persist as to the possibility of tampering.
