Should I try to play baseball again?

So here is the deal, I played baseball for 10 years before I quit in 8th grade. The reason for my quitting is that I wanted to play lacrosse. So I did and it was a sport for that I enjoyed and disliked. I really liked playing the game but the coaches would never move me up to first line even when I approach them and tell them how much I have improved. So over the summer I’ve been going to the batting cages, playing catch, getting fly balls hit to me. While doing that I didn’t dissapoint myself. So now if I do try out for baseball I will have to try to get on JV because I’m a sophmore and I didn’t play baseball as a freshman. I want to play baseball but the only thing stopping me is I think my mom would be dissapointed in me because she spent alot of money for lacrosse equipment.

Just be honest with your mother and try out for the baseball team.
