I have a quick tax question for IC’s. I started a second job as a little league baseball umpire.?

I have a quick tax question for IC’s. I started a second job as a little league baseball umpire. Well they treat us as IC’s and issue us 1099′s. I only made about $3000 doing this gig and kept track of all my expenses (Uniforms, equipment, travel, ect).

They probably will issue a 1099. I had a client last year in a similar situation who got a 1099. You should probably be able to use a C-EZ rather than the full schedule C.

Other than keeping good track of your expenses so you can deduct them, not much else you don’t already know….
