what are good things to sell?
im 16 years old and i want to get $400 in about 3 weeks i have applied for jobs and come up empty handed so far i dont have much pricey stuff but i do have alot of junk i could sell does anybody kno wat stuff i should sell? if so for how much?i have some old remote control cars and trucks but i’ve had some problems with them i have some older baseball equipment and its in good condition i have some basketballs but im not even sure how well they hold air i have some skateboards also…does anyone have any ideas on prices for these or other things that i could sell at a yard sale?
i dont have any “big” things to sell
You could sell your services….such as mowing lawns, shopping services, cleaning out garages, etc…. my son sent out computer-made flyers for this and you would be surprised how many neighbors responded needing him for something! He has made about $100 in the past week. He has also expressed interest in learning new skills, such as sewing (unusual for a boy, I know, but he sees how much I make per week, so figures he would like in on that business!) You just need to see what people are interested in finding help with, or interested in having made for them. Or you could ask neighbors for donations for a yard sale. Many people have things they just don’t want, but they don’t want to throw away, and they don’t want the bother of having a yard sale themselves. I know I have donated things to local youth for yard sales or auctions to help them out. Be creative and hang in there! If you are determined, you will find a way to earn the cash

Steve Jobs: The Apple Of Our I $2.49 Biographical profile of Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Computers and the man who led an evolution in American technology and culture. He ushered in the world of personal computing with the Apple and Mac line of computers, changed the way we buy and listen to music with the iPod, iTunes and the iTunes Store, introduced us to a new wave of animated films and technology through Pixar, with such hits as "Toy Story" and "Finding Nemo" and gave us a new paradigm for mobile telephones and computing with the iPhone. Fortune Magazine named Steve Jobs CEO of the decade. It wasn't his greatest accolade. In 2006, American Heritage magazine published historian James Gordon Steele's list of the top 100 most influential Americans in history. He listed Steve Jobs as number nine, evoking a heated debate with author, and former Democratic congressional candidate, Joshua Heitz–not because Steve Jobs did not merit listing, but because he was ranked higher than F.D.R, who was 14th on the list. Whether Jobs merits listing in the pantheon of the top 100 most influential Americans in history may be debatable, but his standing at the pinnacle of marketing and technology's Olympus is not. Steve Jobs is perhaps the most successful marketing and sales guru the world has ever known. Business Week called him "the world's greatest storyteller," and noted that he " has raised product launches to an art form." The frequent appearance of his name in major magazines and newspapers, at times on a daily basis, is a profound testament to the surreal and mythical standing he evokes. Even a pronouncement of a forthcoming public appearance by the head of Apple sends the blogosphere into hyperdrive, with speculation on what new product he will introduce. So who exactly is Steve Jobs? Award-winning author and former syndicated columnist Daniel Alef tells the fascinating tale of one of America's most intriguing and complex titans of fortune. Rethinking Sales Management: A Strategic Guide for Practitioners $48.99 Until recently, sales managers received no specific training for their jobs. However, selling has become more complex with the emergence of regulations and more sophisticated customers. Sales managers need to inspire and achieve sales results by managing teams of professionals and other resources. To do so, they need guidance on dealing with issues that arise in these broader aspects of their role. This concise guide for sales managers is based on a well-known sales management technique called the ‘customer portfolio matrix’. Beth Rogers weaves her version of this throughout, enabling sales managers to see their strategy from the customer’s point of view. Doing so will allow them to set realistic objectives, design new strategies that add real customer value, avoid wasting time on price-oriented customers and deploy resources for maximum results. |

Be Happy At Work: 100 Women Who Love Their Jobs, And Why $17.39 Meet Leslie, a gallery owner in New York City; Donna, a pharmaceutical sales manager in Texas; Lynne, an animal trainer in Utah; and Betsy, a CEO in California. These women and ninety-six others are members of The Happy 100, a diverse group of women who love their jobs unequivocally. While many workers across America feel bored, unrecognized, and unchallenged, these women greet each new workday with pleasure and a sense of anticipation. What’s their secret? There are concrete connections between each woman’s job and her unique combination of skills, character, and personality, and Be Happy at Work highlights them through candid snapshots of their working lives and career journeys. Author Joanne Gordon has identified three universal themes and ten categories of happy working women, demonstrating the core reasons of their fulfillment. There are The Lovers, women whose work champions a personal passion; The Thinkers, who thrive on intellectual challenge; The Surviving Artists, who make a sustainable living from a creative endeavor; The Determinators, who feed a need for control and influence; The Heroines, who work to change the world; and The Builders, who enjoy building a company, a team, or a product from the ground up. Each of Gordon’s interviewees fits into one of these groups-everyone from actress Stockard Channing, broadcast journalist Lesley Stahl, and songwriter Diane Warren to everyday women who work as a screwdriver manufacturer, a truck driver, and a hospital clown. Gordon tells each their stories and reveals why each woman is happy with her choice-and how readers can achieve the same happiness in their own working lives. Here are the inspiring stories of a chef at the South Pole, a scientist, a judge, a forest ranger, an investment banker, and a Manhattan doorperson, among others. The Happy 100 are all real women whose career stories will help you find yourself in their company. Be Happy at Work proves that loving one’s job is not a luxury for the lucky-it’s a real, attainable possibility for every woman, everywhere. From the Hardcover edition. |

Sold! How America’s Greatest Sales And Marketing Titans Pulled It Off. $13.09 Robert Louis Stevenson said, "Everyone lives by selling something." It is the principal force driving all commercial transactions and activities, from the executive suite of suits and ties to the trenches of open collar and rolled-up sleeves. Given the relative importance of selling in our quest for achievement and success, it is critical to develop selling skills, to hone and perfect them to the best of our abilities. Lots of books have been written about this subject, giving us tips, rules, comments, anecdotes and suggestions, and many more will be written in the future. After all, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics there are more than 14 million people employed in sales and related occupations. And every one of them would like to improve their ability to close sales. "SOLD! HOW AMERICA'S GREATEST SALES AND MARKETING TITANS PULLED IT OFF" takes a different tack. Instead of listing rules or techniques, it lets you study, embrace and emulate the best salesmen/entrepreneurs who ever lived in America. Olympic skier Jean-Claude Killy once said: "The best and fastest way to learn a sport is to watch and imitate a champion." Cadets at the West Point Military Academy study the strategies of the great military leaders of the past to acquire the skills they will need in future combat. Chess players study the strategies employed by the grand chess masters to develop and improve their game. Improving sales techniques and capabilities is no different. Learning how America's super salesmen and saleswomen achieved their success is immensely instructive, all with a view to providing the reader with insight into what made these men and women so successful "Sold!" is the story of 35 titans, from Henry J. Heinz and William Wrigley, Jr., to Steve Jobs, Mary Kay Ash and Jeff Bezos, men and women who created industries, giant corporations, new products, and did it by selling–pitching their ideas and companies to investors and banks, and their products to the public. |

How To Increase Millions Of Jobs In A Year $4.99 By research I found economic recession was created by the wrong economic policy of the United States of America Government. The United States Government transferred 21.8 million jobs to other countries in 2000. After that USA job transfer to other countries increased every year. In 2008 USA transferred 45.7 million jobs to other countries. In 2008 USA transferred 17.9 million jobs to China 4.3 million jobs to Mexico 2.6 million jobs to Canada 2.5 million jobs to Japan 2.3 million jobs to Nogeria 1.4 million jobs to Germany 0.8 million jobs to Ireland 0.7 million jobs to Italy. These are net job transfer. Thus purchasing power of USA people reduced by $914 Billion dollar a year.
