Is cheer leading a sport?

This causing a lot of discussion. Cheer leaders say that oh you couldn’t last one minute in our practice. But really? If you’re a guy with a heavy (sport) athletic build. Of course you can’t do the flips. But, you beat out all the other cheerleaders holding others up. If you’re in a sport like football, baseball, basketball, swimming, etc. I think that the cheer leading practices you be a break from your intense training in those sports. And do you think that cheerleaders could even do the warm-up in the sports i listed above? I don’t know…I just want to know what you think.

Not only No but hell No.

When a Football game breaks out a a cheering event I’ll change my mind.

It is athletic and a fine activity, but a sport ? Not even close.
