are there full of prostitutes around my way or is it just the dress code? should I move out?

I live beside a busy road where lots of people walk past every day, but I am finding it a bit of a dive. You have all sorts of hard looking young men walking up and fourth, some wearing stripped tee-shirts and baseball caps, , others wear rough-looking jeans and black leather jacketsyoung women walking up and down wearing black leather jackets, black boots and either mini-skirts, hot pants where sometimes the hot pants barely show. Because of this, everytime I am going out this kinda makes me uncomfortable but if this is normal then theres a difference, however I dont see the women actually soliciting, just wearing that sort of clothing. My question is how do you know the difference between this being innocently normal and whether there is a load of prostitutes walking up and down, how can you tell just by looking at them.

I am not trying to overjudge people or mean any offence, but I do find it a little unpleasant

Only something like 5% of prostitutes are males. The statistical odds of the ones you see being that 5% are slim.
