Do you ever find sports ridiculous?
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love sports and participating in them, but sometimes they make me laugh when I think about them further.
Baseball: hitting a ball with a piece of wood or metal
Basketball: shooting a ball in a basket on a pole
Golf: hitting a ball with wooden or metal clubs to put it in a circular-shaped hole in the ground.
Soccer: shooting a ball between two posts
Tennis: hitting a ball over a net and using a an oval-shaped contraption with a handle to do so.
Furthermore, it’s silly that there are highly-paid people who can do what most people can do just because they can do it better and with a greater consistency.
Yeah sports are pretty stupid imo, nothing that interesting about any of them. soccer is one of the few sports I’ll actually watch but even then I’m not too thrilled about it.
