are fire iridium oakley sunglasses bright when you look out of them?
im playing baseball and im wondering if the glasses would be bright looking out of them. it would be bad if it is.

The regular fire iridium lenses have 16% light transmission.
The polarized fire iridium have 10% light transmission (which would be darker).
The lowest light transmission level at Oakley is 9%, achieved by things like the black iridium polarized.
Anyway, the polarized fire iridium might border for some on even being too dark. The regular fire iridium are in the range where they’re fine for most purposes and retain a maximum protection level of 3, but they’re not as absolutely dark as things can go.
I wouldn’t consider them “bright,” but if you want increased protection, go with the polarized version.
Also be aware that the fire iridium lenses have a bit of a yellow/amber tint for the viewer, which isn’t for everyone.
Your ideal would be to find a local Oakley dealer where you could view the lenses firsthand, even if on another model.
