let me ask you this, lets say you see two young people walking towards you, one is an African American who is dressed very conservatively, khaki pants, polo shirt, clean cut and on the other side of the street is a young white kid, wearing a hoodie that is covering most of his face, loose pants, and maybe a baseball cap slanted someway and some chain around his neck, which side of the street would you feel comfortable walking on. easily, I would feel more comfortable walking on the side of the street of the African American. The problem with kids of any color emulating hip-hop styles, is the fact that the lifestyle and activities endorsed and glorified by hip-hop artists is to a large extent, blatantly criminal, and morally bankrupt.
Examples? Songs glorifying drug-dealing, songs advocating murder and gang crimes, songs encouraging the degradation of women, songs extolling the virtues of pimps and prostitution…
