Am I pitching/training for baseball too much? Details below—10 points?
I’m 19 years old and I’m 6’3-195. I just got into basbeall (pitching) in November and now I throw around 300 pitches (full speed) a week, and lift weights 3 days a week.
Is that too much? I started throwing around 150 pitches a week for the first month or so but for the last two months I have been throwing 300 pitches a week plus I just started lifting weights a little over a month ago. Am I doing too much, too little, or just enough?
My arm feels great, but I’m a little worried that maybe a few months from now it will all catch up. Also is it okay to do this routine for 365 days a year (like not throw every day, but keep up this routine all year long) Thanks in advance.

I recently saw a segment on TV about a coach with a radical new style of pitching training that is very low impact. It featured some pro pitchers who were considering retiring until this guy worked with them. One comment was that if this style could be taught to a pitcher at a young enough age that it could extend his career by a decade or so.
This sounds to me like what you need.
