How much does full bat catching gear cost?

I am a 14 year old girl and I love softball. the only position I play is bat catcher. I want to get my own equipment instead of using the crappy equipment that the league supplies. but I don’t know how much it costs, and my dad won’t buy anything too expensive. does anyone know how much full gear (shinpads, chest protector, helmet) would cost, approximately?? and I’m only 14 so it doesn’t hve to be like proffesional grade or anything!! please help!!

Drills for receiving, including the bare hand drill, ball-in-hand drill, quarter turn and side-to-side drills, are illustrated. To develop good blocking fundamentals, Mercadante discusses blocking the 5 hole and throwing the hip to block. To develop these fundamentals he shows the side-to side drill and the five-ball drill. The third element is throwing. When the ball is caught, players are taught to work it back to his left shoulder, which aids their footwork. Mercadante dissects the jab step – the first movement forward after the catch. Exploding out of the blocks and keeping the weight over the feet are other keys he covers. Although failing eyesight forced her to stop painting with oil in the 70′s she continued to use pencil and watercolor. Active long into her later years O’Keeffe died in 1986 at the age of 98.
